Title: SoMe Interactions
In this course, we'll look at how to engage with the social media users. The students will also be presented with case studies of how businesses use social media.
The aim is for the students to gain general knowledge of how social media can be used and how it will add value to their business in the future.

Beskrivelse

The target group is the students on the main courses in Commerce, Sales and the Office Administration specialization. (These are courses in the Danish school system for trainees)
The course is intended as part of the elective course “Communication via Electronic Media” at Advanced level.

Did you know that a video on Facebook gets twice as many interactions as an image and 19 times more than text? Typically, video content on social media is more positive in nature than text and images. Text is more often perceived as more serious content with an informative function, such as a government press release or criticism of a specific service or product.

It is not just about choosing the appropriate social media channel, but also the right format if you want to generate interaction. You also need to know the recipient – the social media users. Who are they? What do they want? And why are you relevant to them, if you are relevant at all?

“How do you engage the users of your company’s social media?”

Læringsmål

  • The student will know the impact of different electronic media on communication, such as social media, e-mail, text messages and websites.
  • The student will be able to use the target language as a tool for carrying out sales and services where the target language is carried out by electronic media.
  • The student can use and adapt the content of the company's digital platform based on customer insights and customer data.
  • The student can conduct digital sales, customer contact and customer service.
  • The student can perform tasks related to the company's digital business processes.
